Thank you for visiting WonderfulHomes! I’m Melissa, and I founded this company over a decade ago in honor of my late mother, Glenna. My mom, whose favorite word was ‘Wonderful,’ took immense pride in our home, filling it with warmth, energy, and love for me and my seven siblings. Her dedication to creating a beautiful and welcoming space left a lasting impact on all of us – so much so that five of her children, including myself, now work in the home industry.

But my path to home building wasn’t a direct one. For decades, I thrived as an executive in corporate America. Then, a large-scale home renovation project of my own changed everything. I found myself completely immersed in the process of reimagining spaces and selecting the perfect finishes. I loved it all. That experience sparked a passion I couldn’t ignore.

I retired from my corporate career to pursue my love for architecture and design. I was fortunate to apprentice under a highly respected architect and home builder, refining my skills and deepening my understanding of the craft. Eventually, WonderfulHomes was born.
